The 'Battle Of The Fang' Novel depict the defensive battlefield exploits of the Twelfth company of the Space Wolves versus the portion of remaining turncoats Space Marines from The Thousands-Sons. After a time pass from the destruction made on Prospero it is now time for the traitors to come and defile the Wolves homeworld of Fenris. Following the story we enter in the living memories of an age past where the Wolves ruled supreme within their own galaxy. Treachery in the making the book spread over the living account of heroes built through the great war in what represent the fortress taking of the Wolves, call the Fang, and for the future it enclose for mankind.
The author 'Chris Wraight' revelations within this novels are epic in their making and give truth to the hardship of background research made all along its writing length. The story is sparse in few areas and reinforced to the utmost in others giving the book some ups and down feeling mood sense when read. This sentiment of reaction is left to the bookworm until the next revelation make its mark on the reader known facts about the two war raging chapters. From this moment a numbness of a riposte to a cold glass of water in the face is simply eminent in itself. 'Battle Of The Fang' is a most read for the pure joy of discovering these fresh details about the heroes living in this particular time of warfare conflict.
Within this book the midstream details of the heroes form the backbone of the story in itself... from the one's getting kill along the way to the one's that do survive to its end. I must say that I would have preferred this book to be yet darker then what it is in seeing few more heroes receiving the slaughter of ending breath in more gruesome manner but in all the book dose its fights properly well. 'Chris Wraight' delivers a gentle tonic of description unto its readers like a wolves would be taking its time to secure its prey before the closing stage of it pack imminent attack. Letting us rest easily within its preferred format of storytelling this author perform stylishly apart from what Black Library bring us in most Novels.
I bestow the 'Battle of the Fang' an affirmative height out of ten for this book represent a legitimate must read for the community. From the background tales of old this book bring the saga story of The Space Wolves and The Thousand-Sons chapters to a new height. It was a entertaining and excellent read and its with contentment that I recommend this novel to be gathered in your tomes collection.
