Book Review - Blood Reaver

.
Black Library

Driven on by their hatred of the False emperor, the Night Lords stalk the shadows of the galaxy in this second follow-up novel call 'Blood Reaver'. Committing to a fractious alliance with the Red Corsairs, united only by a common enemy, the Night Lords bring their ways of destruction to the fortress-monastery of the Marines Errant. Following 'Soul Hunter' the story bring the following adventure of the First Claw and their retinues within what I would call a picturesque journey to the deepest part of the Segmentum Obscurus.

The thrilling novel 'Blood Reaver' written by 'Aaron Dembski-Bowden' race us within the confinement account of each members of First Claw and new characters alike like a dagger in the back. Soon has you start reading the book the effortless flow stratagem written within keep you hem in and fang clinch on the cover. Turning page after page the writer tie you up to his world and make you embrace the spoken past, present and future of his characters in a clear-cut manner.

Going from Octavia, Maruc, Dal Karus, Vandred, Lucoryphus, Variel... old and new characters side stories propel the main narrative of First Claw into a deeper thresh-hold measure then the first book could have ever intended us to learn. Following the series of exploit of Talos the main character and his cohort Cyrion, Mercutian, Uzas and Xarl we are lead to discover the entire ways of thinking of the Night Lords ensuing steps toward chaos repulsion over humanity.

Making friendship or what be best call fractious alliance we soon discover the pursuit prowess that Chaos Space Marines goes throw to survive. Following the Covenant of Blood needs of repairs and being driven into the world of the Red Corsairs the author give a talented approach to the communion that chaos Marines live in and their hierarchy of the toughest. Bestowing a fastidious presentation of Huron Blackheart 'Aaron' introduce the reader to see pass is given characters in what can be compelled has the world of darkness and power. The taken of the Fortress-Monastery is simply brilliant in its making...

Not wanting to say more in regard to exploiting the inside of the book to the ears of future readers I am oblige to let you know that this Novel is a must read. A twist somebody's arm way to telling you that this book should be given your attention would be to say 'The Sea of Soul has lapped against this Novel'. I give the rating of nine over ten for 'Blood Reaver'.

'May the red corsair Echo of Damnation embrace its freedom and its navigator.'

'Aaron Dembski-Bowden we are heretically awaiting your next tale.'

'May the violent soul of Talos awaken the dead.'
