The 'Soul Hunter' Novel depict the journey of a cluster of Night Lords defending their belief in a world of blackness and betrayal. Forming a troubled allegiance with the Black Legion Chaos Marines the Night Lords are on the assault progress for the planet Crythe Primus. Following through the book revelations of the servants duties and own stories are described as we follow more closely the challenging make ends meet of the tome main leading character pursuing his own destiny in the carnage and slaughter that Warhammer 40K present.
The author 'Aaron Dembski-Bowden' having a 41st Millennium names in itself have no trouble getting us into the drama environments that the enemies of the Golden Throne on Earth are facing. Bringing us slowly within his grasp the author let us discover one at the time each of the heroes characters of the story without giving us time to put the book down for a recess. Giving us the regime in which the characters are living the author take time to contain us profoundly within the background of W40K grim darkness.
The 'Night Lords' have been described in the past to be mostly in solo formation while using their treachery on the Imperial Worlds. The 'Soul Hunter' Novel on the divergent line of conviction give us a better and more refined story where we can follow the Night Lords living with each other's while on the course for battle. Within this book 'Aaron Dembski-Bowden' have no mercy in openhanded us small twist that are reveal few page further to be the back bone of the book itself and tagging along the way bring us about with the path of the entire story presented.
I bestow the 'Soul Hunter' an affirmative nine out of ten for this book is a real novel of its own genre. The author present on all its form what the grim universe we all envy really is. The bloody regime, the timed tales, the forgot power of technology are all found within this novel under the laughter of the thirsting gods... It was a delight and true enjoyment to read and is a definite story that I recommend to be contain in all true collectors of W40K Novels.
